Competences – upon completion the learner will have acquired the  responsibility and autonomy to:

a) Ensure a safe working environment by keeping the area clean and clear from any hazards (e.g.  an open bottle full of liquid). 

b) Follow the right procedure in case of an accident.

c) Carry out basic tasks related to electrical installations under the supervision of a licensed  electrician.

d) Select the right type and size of cable upon demand by a licensed electrician.

e) Follow a simple technical diagram and drawing.

f) Calculate the resistance and capacitance using the appropriate formulae.

g) Calculate the costing of production

h) Maintain a portfolio

i) Prepare an exhibition on a given topic

j) Set up an exhibition

k) Give advice on possible improvements of the produced product.
